VitignoItalia 2025 Returns to Naples

The wine days return to Naples with VitignoItalia 2025, the premier exhibition dedicated to Italian wines and wine-growing territories. For nearly two decades, this event has served as a benchmark for wineries, enthusiasts, and industry professionals from across Italy. From Sunday, May 11 to Tuesday, May 13, the Maritime Station of Naples—introduced as a new venue last year—will host three days of tastings, networking, and discovery in the heart of the city.

A Showcase of Italian Wine Excellence

This year’s edition will feature more than 200 wineries and several regional consortia, with over 2000 labels available for tasting. The event promises a journey through Italy’s rich and diverse winemaking landscape, including both renowned denominations and emerging terroirs. Campania will take center stage with a high-quality selection of regional producers, supported by the Campania Regional Department of Agriculture.

Other key wine regions such as Friuli Venezia Giulia, Piedmont, and Veneto will be well represented, followed by Tuscany, Sicily, and Puglia. Visitors will also discover standout participants like the Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG and Friuli DOC consortia. Southern Italian institutions including the Consorzio Tutela Vini del Vesuvio, V.I.T.I. – Vignaioli In Terre d’Irpinia, the Regional Wine Cellar of Calabria, and the Regional Institute of Wine and Oil of Sicily will round out a tasting itinerary that spans the entire Peninsula.

A Stronger Focus on Business Opportunities

VitignoItalia 2025 will place a renewed emphasis on international business development. In addition to the in-person event, two preliminary meetings will be held live from London and Stockholm, helping to connect Italian wineries with strategic markets in the UK and Scandinavia. These sessions aim to create direct relationships between producers and buyers at a time when the wine sector faces increasing challenges.

The collaboration with ICE – Italian Trade Agency adds further value, offering a webinar that prepares Italian businesses to engage effectively with global markets. Trade analysts from ICE offices in Stockholm and London will provide expert insights, making the session a valuable resource for companies aiming to expand their international presence.

Strategic Partnerships and Global Outlook

Long-standing partner UniCredit will continue to support the event, while Multicedi—the largest distribution group in central and southern Italy—will participate for the first time. A selected group of over 20 international buyers from Europe and overseas will be on-site, underlining the event’s growing global appeal. These buyers will engage in curated meetings with producers, turning VitignoItalia into a vital platform for trade as well as a celebration of Italian wine culture.

An Immersive Experience for Wine Lovers and Professionals Alike

VitignoItalia 2025 offers more than a tasting event—it’s an immersive experience that celebrates the richness of Italian viticulture. From the Prosecco hills to the bold reds of Calabria, the fair presents a full sensory journey through the country’s finest terroirs. Whether you’re a seasoned buyer or a passionate wine lover, this event in Naples promises to be a must-attend highlight of the year.
